After having my books rejected by countless publishers, I thought, “Maybe I’m the problem.”

“No,” I replied to myself. “They’re all crazy, not you.”

So I made this boutique press for quirky stories involving Mormonism, to publish my books and the books of like-minded authors.

For some presses, our books are a little too apostate, and for others a little too faith promoting. A little too esoteric, weird, and odd.

  • Kingdoms: A Post-Mormon Journey through Hell

    This book is a fictional journey, inspired by a dream, and influenced by Dante’s “Inferno” among other classic texts. It is a cosmic tour through Mormon cosmology, from Celestial to Terrestrial and then Telestial, and finally down to the depths of Outer Darkness.

    The journey starts with a man named Adam who left the Mormon Church.

    When Adam died, he found out the church was true. True-ish, anyway, although God’s not exactly happy with how things are being run on earth.

    Adam’s got to figure out where he wants to spend eternity, so he goes on a journey to hell and back Mormon style.

    Fiction (obviously). Novella format.

  • The Book of Lehi: translated by Maggi L. Walters

    That’s right: the long lost 116 pages, finally ready for the world!

    We met Maggi, the eccentric author of the Book of Lehi, in Upstate New York at a conference on Mormon history. She was presenting on her expertise in Thomsonian and Mesmeric medicine.

    Later, in a private conversation, she alluded to a book that she had translated—not written, but translated—which piqued our interest immediately.

    Fortunately, she had brought the holograph with her, which she kept in a wooden box, written longhand on foolscap with beautifully artistic penmanship.

    While very skeptical at first, we found this purported Book of Lehi to be captivating if nothing else. But even more interesting, it provided reasonable solutions to issues with the Book of Mormon, to include but not limited to the Deutero-Isaiah dilemma.

    Whether the author is crazy or sincere, we found the book to be a compelling and entertaining read, and knew no other press would publish it besides us. Decide for yourself what to do with this book!
